[quote:824a1f3181="Leo / loob"]What am I to do with my 25 teams, and their SPers, lineups, etc??

I must go to work at 5, and, will not have internet access before 10 PM, hell, wont have access before midnight.....

So, am I just suppose to accept the losses I will incur from Fossum pitching in Wrigley?

I have many teams with spot SPers
I have a few teams with players due to come of extended injuries that I wont be able to change the lineups for

I understand things happen

But, what now, as far as the losses I will incur due to no such fault of mine??[/quote:824a1f3181]

Keep Up The Great Work

To say I understand what you're going through would be an understatement. I build web sites for a living. Thanks for keeping us informed as well as you did. Awesome job. Everything seems to be loading very smooth.
I would also like to say I'm new to your site (2nd league) and have enjoyed every minute that I've spent on it. Keep up the great work...

Alright! I've been waiting for that one.

I've got 2 drafts running tonight plus 6 boxscores for every team - it'll definitely be a 2 or 3 coffee Strat Saturday. :)

[quote:6b02bd7b5b="Land Baron"][quote:6b02bd7b5b="ezampol"]How can it possibly be said that "We are all in the same boat"?[/quote:6b02bd7b5b]

It can be said that "We are all in the same boat" because your opponents and those teams chasing you likely have players coming off injuries as well. And it makes no difference if you have one active team or 38, in each and every case, the other teams in your league are up against the same player issues as you. So while you might not be able to set your pitchers or put subs in for injured players, neither can they. The playing field is level.[/quote:6b02bd7b5b]

Come on...even bernie said it wasn't fair and that he wished he could turn injuries off. Some teams have more injuries than others; some are faving hard righties or lefties and would be making different strategic choices. Meanwhile other teams may have no players coming off injuries and may be facing all pitchers who are 1Ls or 1Rs. It's ridiculous to claim we are all in the same boart or that the playing field is level. Rules state that we run 3 games per night. people build strategies based on the rules. And now for one potentially critical series, we are suspending the rules because it's an inconvenience to delay each series by one day! I don't get it!

I also said let's not argue about that. You're right, it sucks. I addressed why we can't just delay everything by one day. I'm doing the best I can under the circumstances.

Bernie,

Why is it hard to turn injuries off for the night?

Bernie, I myself don't have a problem with you. I am just frustrated that there is always maintenance work being done.

I only have two teams going on right now and I had one of them set for aggressive base stealing but I had to go and change that because I don't want to have it at aggressive for the second series. It's just a pain in the butt. I do recognize that it's a pain for everyone else too though so I can just deal with it. I hope everything will get better. Thanks for your hard work.

...I told Jessica she should return your calls, but she's really happy here. :D

What's the old saying..."excuse our dust but build we must". Git-r-done Bernie and by this time next week nobody will remember. Also, thanks for keeping us informed along the way.

I appreciate the efforts, Bernie. And, sorry to hear about Andrey's finger. I knew when I saw the message about the upcoming maintainence that there would be problems/issues. Why? MURPHY'S LAW. What EVER can go wrong, WILL go wrong. For most, it's an annoyance, for some, it's a real issue. I have 20+ teams running right now. Given my overall mediocre managing ability, I doubt anything YOU guys do will make my team perform any worse. And, if we all see improvements down the road from the efforts today, I am sure we will forget about todays SNAFU. :)
