Bernie--Thanks to you and Andrey

And thanks for the teaser! Sneaky diversion--and woohoo a league without clutch...

Sometimes you pay for being good. We're spoiled. Remember the bit(hing about the forums? Infopop? Groupee? Then a switch and what did you get? Complaints.

This site's got a better up time rate than a MS Windows PC...which is why I love my Mac.

I'd bet SOMO uptime rates would beat any comparable entity we could come up with.

[quote:2c9f537644="bernieh"]I also said let's not argue about that. You're right, it sucks. I addressed why we can't just delay everything by one day. I'm doing the best I can under the circumstances.[/quote:2c9f537644]

I am not sure I follow your explanation, but I will take your word for it. Hopefully my team maintains its narrow lead. I just put 3 injured guys in my lineup. Hopefully Hal makes some sense of it for the first series.

Thanks again for working overtime. We all appreciate it.

Yikes,

Where do you get the time to manage [b:7fab47b2bd]more than five teams [/b:7fab47b2bd]at once?

Hell, I have a hard enough time losing with just the one I have going now.

Bernie,

Why is it hard to turn injuries off for the night? :)

actually Bernie I'm very pissed off--I think we need another coy diversion--cmon what else is in store--you do owe us...well at least you the addicts with 50 or so teams something more than 2 sorting routines.

[quote:bc4e2e798b="bernieh"]PBTR is right, we're getting better servers, newer database technology, and for the first time ever we have someone working full-time on Strat-O-Matic (me). I'm just sorry you have to witness this round of the ugly growing pains. I'm going to do everything I can to make it up to you and then some.[/quote:bc4e2e798b]

Bernie, I'm thrilled with the server speed improvement. It's already very noticeable from where I sit. Thanks for that and for your renewed committment to this wonderful game. I will be spending 5x the $ I have in previous years. Keep up the great work. And please do what you can to get Andrey back in the lineup for opening day 2006. - Best Wishes, mark p

i was going conservative stealing against BENCH last night.......tonight....my opponents catcher is a stiff and his pitchers couldnt hold Mo Vaughn on first......i would have went aggressive......now i'm on normal for 6 games.....hmmmmmmmmmm........i would rather have just skipped a night......i'm sure HAL ,as always, will impress !

This is starting to sound like the banter going around during last call in my local bar...some "I love you man"s, some "This ain't fair"s, some "Why can't we just turn off injuries?"s.

I for one really appreciate all the work being done.

Remember guys... [i:fb2e79fe62][b:fb2e79fe62]Strat-Karma [/b:fb2e79fe62][/i:fb2e79fe62]is out there

If you ain't nice to HAL...HAL won't be nice to your teams' 6 games tonight...something to think about.

So, let me be the first to pay tribute to HAL "Vito" Corleone:

"Don HAL, you are fantastic! the way you use my bullpen oooooh its sooo wise!, And the way you use pinch hitters, ufff, an example to us all. I heard Tony LaRussa and his gang are watching you closely to learn from you. I thank you for all your help. If you wouldn't mind, I have a sick team, hitting very poorly, any help for tonight's 6 games will be greatly appreciated. By the way, that face-lift you got last night really makes you look like a teenager again...sorry that Vinnie was tough on that doc. You know, that Andrey guy, we saws hin getting too close to you with a knife so we just...well...sorry boss, we'll keep Andrey in the best of thoughts until we hear he's healthy"

Haar-Haar-Haargh

Just watch me get all the lucky rolls tonight
