Old situation thread

Well put Tyber...I see some good Strat-Karma going your way for tonight's games...all six of 'em...Good luck bud!

Thanks again Bernie,

Only request I have:

Please send our best to Andrey, we wish him all the best, quickiest and fullest recovery.

Most important to remember with all of this: we are dealing with cyber-cards...in other words Cards that don't even exist...in the mean time Andrey's health is not virtual, it isn't a card made up of mathematical odds in the attempt to replicate the results from a baseball player's performance 1 year ago. Let's try to keep in mind what is really important.

[quote:14cb7a9c66="jno1863"]I just want to repeat that the running of 6 games this evening in an blatant attempt to capitalize on profits is amazingly unfair and that the company should be ashamed of theselves.

What????????????????????????????? I think we're all a little dumber after reading this guy's posts...

Bernie Rocks

Postby DAVIDCARROLL 2 » Fri Feb 24, 2006 11:32 pm

You keep up the good work Bernie. I am riding on 6 games to get me to the play-offs in 1 nite. If I don't make it, oh well. Maybe I should have made the right moves earlier in season. :? It is a great game and I will continue buying 5 packs.
I will be up early to chack the results! :D

I was kinda getting worried about how dull these boards have been lately. This solves one problem!

Hang in there Bernie!

I find some of these posts to be embarrassing. Please give Bernie and TSN a break while they try to improve their product. I think our community can be very slightly inconvenienced on one night out of a 54 night season for which we only paid $20 (and, yes, I have roughly 15 teams playing tonight).

I just wish I was as fortunate as some of you who obviously must always do perfect work yourself, work that always goes as planned so that you never have to ask a client or customer to show a little patience and understanding.

Tyber90- When you pay money you have the right to complain! It's not whining. I have no problem with the delay, I understand that "chit" happens. I think it is a mistake to try and make up all the games in one night. I would have been better to have missed a night and just picked up where we left off tonight. Running 6 games with no opportunities for changes WILL screw some people, and there is no need. What the big rush??

Bernie,

I don't think your wife would appreciate it if Jessica Alba called your house.

My best wishes for Andrey's recovery.

You love this job, don't you.

Very nice note by Crabby A and I fully agree. I'm thankful that TSN is working hard at improving the product and trying their best to communicate with us.

I, for one, also appreciate the fact that I had 5 pages of posts to this string of emails to read as a replacement for box scores today!!

Finally, I am in awe of Nevdully - 38 active teams? I have 12 active teams and a headache keeping them all straight.

Life moves on

Hey Bernie,

It is cool...i understand that these things happen. The rest of you who are melting down need to chill out just a bit. We have all been affected by this, my biggest hitter is injured and is going to end up sitting out for three games in which he is available to play. Am I happy? Of course not! But my team is good enough to win without anyone. And if you are a good strat manager and if your team is a solid team you should be able to win any series no matter what happens!

By the way how do you guys manage more than 1 team? I would go nuts! One team keeps me really busy. Do you guys do anything else? Just asking.
