MOTHER OF ALL FRENZIES tonight! Treyomo has PW in his PM.

Good point, Adrian. What a mess. Well, we will work it out, one way or another. Probably not to EVERYONE's satisfaction, but we will try to accomodate as many as possible. Sad thing is, this was going to be my last frenzy for awhile, as I must cut down on my number of active teams running. Was looking for one big BLOWOUT frenzy league/night to tide me over for a few weeks... :(

ok, finally decided to check in here. BTW, 9 am EST is 6 AM my time PST, not 7 am - and no, I wouldn't be around, that's sleep time. The evenings (now) are best because it isn't even quite midnight yet right now.

So, I'll just sit back and wait until y'all decide what to do. For me, evenings are definately better than mornings.

Guys, I'm so sorry but we're having further problems with the games. I'm at my wit's end right now and I already know I'm going to be up for the rest of the night for the second night in a row.

All I can say is that there will be a further delay with tonight's games. I'm doing everything I can.

This may be common knowledge but I haven't seen it posted. After a game has run, and before the box scores show up, you can click on the pitcher (or any player for that matter) for the game and see his results for that nights game in the "Last 10 Games" area. It gets to be like Russian Roulette.
So click on your SP for that nights game and you see, for instance, he went 6 innings with no decision. Then start clicking on your relievers one by one until you see if one of them got the W, L or S. Very nerve wracking.

Hi all. We are in absolute LIMBO here, due to the standstill occuring with TSN. You will all probably want to read all the postings to catch up, but essentially, there have been three suggestions made as to what we can do. In no particular order -
1. Adrian suggested turning this in to a LIVE DRAFT. We could use Penn's site. Do the standard lottery numbers by state, the usual serpentine draft, and actually pick our teams. Since we all have ACTUAL teams already (or will have, once our draft occurs), it seems like the thing to do would be to make a pick, and then announce on this thread what player we were dropping in conjunction with the pick. EX - I have the first pick. I select W. Mays, and announce I am dropping Shamsky. Then, I go in to the site and actually make that transaction. A negative to this is we would have to get Bernie to kick back our opening night til at least Monday, March 6th, to have enough time to do this, IF our draft runs and is considered a Friday, the 24th draft. Another negative is, of course, that we did not sign up for a live draft, so if any of you don't like, can't invest in the time, this won't appeal to you. It would be a long live draft, if we are re-drafting all 25 players on our team, so we would have to stay up on the picks, and make liberal use of Penn's proxy feature.
2. Try and get ALL 12 of us on the computer at the same time, THIS weekend (again, assuming our draft sets us up for opening night THIS Monday) and do a planned frenzy as many of us discussed last night. Biggest negative here is FINDING that time. Seems almost impossible to do, but who knows?
3. Ask Bernie to reset the whole draft, and put this off until this upcoming Friday night/Saturday morning, March 3-4th, and hold our Mother of All Frenzies then. Negative here is that Munich Man, and possibly others, will NOT be available to frenzy then, so they are left out in the cold.
AS OF THIS POINT, NOTHING IS PLANNED. SHOULD OUR DRAFT EVER GO OFF (:)), PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE FA WIRE.
We will get something figured out. It probably won't be to everyone's satisfaction, but we will all try to make it the best we can for the most. We have a good group of managers, and I don't anticipate this being a problem. NOW, as for TSN and THEIR situation.....  :?:

I don't want a live draft. I had one extra credit to spare and I wanted it to be as advertised: Mother of All Frenzies.

I KNEW I shouldn't have entered my team. I wasn't thinking clearly at 3am.

You all would have been pissed at me for holding up the draft... then you all would have loved me for not filling the league. :D
