I see that TSN has had a major setback on their switch over in systems. What's really sad is one of their staff members physically hurt themselves in the process of this change. I hope and pray he's doing OK. I know that some of our community is frustrated and I understand those feelings given some of the past problems we have encountered with TSN. But in ths situation I know how they feel. My business has encountered several system failures over the years. One in particular involed a total shutdown 4 hours before the Kentuck Derby race about 10 years ago. The entire casino industry in Nevada was at a standstill for a time period covering almost the entire 4 hours. Major properties had party convention rooms with thousands of patrons yelling and screaming for "blood". I was in our operations room watching the faces of my employees as they tried over and over again to resolve the problem. The phones were ringing off the hook. It was the most horrible day in my life from a business standpoint. I could only try to calm my people down and embrace them. Some of them broke down in tears. It was a horrible business tradegy and in the end they finally resolved the problem. But the damage was done and industry was prepared to lynch us. All I could do was to call a meeting of the properties and try to explain that sometimes things happen. With millions of lines of code sometimes a line of code has a "bug" and then everything goes crazy. Remember the Challenger accident...sometimes it takes lives...TSN is trying so very hard to fix this situation. I'm sure that they will resolve it but all we can do is have patience. In an effort to improve our fantasy experience, they have created a "nightmare" which probably has several people in tears....Considering I am recovering from a painful surgery and am taking perocet and valium, I have a little more empathy than normal.....The sun will shine...Bobby
p.s. It's nice to be back
