Agreed.
Even if we wait a while, we should go through the protected players and draft as soon as we can. That way we'll have time to see what the base of our team is and have a better idea of what direction we want to go in.

I could use a little time to review my options for the Red Sox. If I just take the top 25 players on the post WWII and expansion rosters, I have:
1 hitter over 9 mil
1 pitcher over 9 mil
No other player over 7 mil
A team salary not too far from 60 mil.
Sounds familiar :lol:

I have a couple of questions about the rules for the postwar/exp next league. I have the Twins so I would use the Senators post war team (ugh!). I have no pitchers or hitters over 9 mil and not too many players worth using at any position...do I just go by years that players might have played for the Senators? In other words, when I go looking for the gems to help this pitiful franchise, what year do I look for, for that player that may be eligible for my postwar/exp team? (1945?) Next question, does anyone have a list of players over 5 or 6 mil that would be eligible for the Twins/Senators franchise...that you would be willing to share? Last question: How are we going to decide divisions? Thanks....

my guess is that you would have access to any Senators from 1947 until the 1961 season, which should coincide pretty nicely to the post Washington roster and the Minnesota exp roster all belonging to your Twins franchise.
Actually you wont have to worry about which Senators are eligible, because only the post Senators will even be in the league, since we will use the Post War set for this season.

rosenthm check your PM.. I sent you some suggestions... You have some deep pitching options..
Any player in the Post WW2, exp era set that ever played for the Twins or Senators is eligible for your roster. So you will select from all post WW2 and exp era players..
Open to suggestions on divisions... maybe just some kind of regional grouping???
