FATY II - Congratulations Champion Fred Aaron!

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

Great, I went from #8 in FATY I to #11 in FATY II. I'm going the wrong way. At lest in FATY III, I can't much lower....can I?

FYI...FATY I champ (FAaron) had the #4 pick. Good Doc is in a good spot. Fred took #4 and ran with it!!

Of course, poor Fred now has to deal with the double curse. Defending Champ and the #1 pick. That can only mean a disaster.

E-mail addresses coming your way this morning Randy. I do not have addresses for GoodDoc and keyzick, so if you guys want Randy's spreadsheets you'll have to PM me your addresses.

Congrats to Fred on the first pick. The key will be who you get with your final pick. Can a Mets fan like you really pass on them with that first pick?

Strangely, I like my position in the draft. The one good thing about being 12th is that you immediately get to pick your second team, leaving more options for picks that complement each other.

Rob, thanks for confirming the lottery picks.

We'll begin the draft as soon as the 08 cards are out and Fred makes his first pick.

FAaron - NY 116 - The Amazin' Mets
BrandonCraig - MO 200
durantjerry - MA(1st 3) 228
TheGoodDoc - CA 266
jablowmi - FL 267 (471 midday)
LMBombers - DC 267 (680 midday)
crossingroads - KY 383
klx22 - AZ 502
LatorreR - NJ 557
keyzick - CT 559
ehlekev - MN 767
pwootten - DE 839

In what NY sportscaster Sal Marciano once dubbed a "victory of hope over reason", I will pass on all trade offers and pick the Mets, without checking on the 2008 players. I know my 2008 bullpen will blow, so I'm actually hoping you'll stick me with the Padres or Royals so I can get Heath Bell or Joakim Soria.

I envision Brandon going with an all-Missouri roster, taking the Cards with his first pick and the Royals with his second.

Spreadsheet is out for 2008. You can sort the data by team w/o any problem. It sounds like the set will be out later today. The Royals look . . . kinda scary.

Rob, go to the SOM forum where Bernie posted that the game was coming soon. He added the link about an hour ago.
