Hey Cheesehead,

you're approved -- Ozzie is dropped from your pick ---- you should be all set to add Fernandez now.

What is the clock set at for picks? Is there a time limit today?

What U say Jimmy C?

I agree 2 rounds without the clock is enough. When I start round three, which will be seconds after Fatty picks we should move to the 3 hr clock.

What U say Jimmy C?

Hey guys...just checking in...

Will everyone be able to work with a three hour clock starting tonight? I know Semper will be out of touch for a little bit, so just wanna make sure.

If that works for everyone, I'll go change to 3 hrs after I get out of work today. I'll turn the clock off at 9pm, and re-start it at 7:00 am (before leaving for work). I just want to make sure we don't screw up anyone by doing it today instead of tomorrow morning (or later), so let me know ASAP.

I'm usually in bed by 11:00 PM EST at the latest nowadays. But I'm up at 5:00 AM. I check in enough so I usually don't leave a proxy unless I know that I definitely will be out of touch for a while.

3 hr. clock sounds great AFTER we finish round 2.

BTW guys...when we go to a 3 hr. time limit, if a manager DOES NOT make a pick, the draft will still stall.

Sooooo...if the manager ahead of you DOES NOT make his pick before the time deadline, you have to manually make the next pick to start the draft again. This is VERY IMPORTANT if/when you use proxies. The proxies will not run if the manager ahead of you doesn't pick.

A little FYI. Keep an eye on the clock when we go to the time limit.

Anybody in a league with Fatty, where they can send him a message? I made a paging post on the board for him.

OK...haven't heard anybody against the 3-hour clock yet. It is already 7:15pm EST, so...I'll turn the clock on at 7am tomorrow and turn it off at 9pm. Of course the draft can continue, but the clock won't be on.

It appears that we are probably not going to make the Friday night midnight deadline for loading this league unless we start ripping through some of these picks.

Use the proxy feature when in doubt...

Jimmy,

I'm fine for loading proxies so far. I checked this afternoon and the congo line is still miles away for me to pick again.

I doubt anyone wants to pick my guys anyway.

Unless it is me, I swear every pick that I make that costs more than $5.1m - I'm sure of finding the "turd" card. In my only two leagues so far, I've selected two pitchers (both leagues) only to drop or will drop them in the coming days.

Of course, I am in a division where the owners are rookies and are killing me with their teams of "I've never seen that card used". Hell, the one owner is playing Molitor at 2b and leads the league so far.

And, I'll need to find a team name now - maybe the Pinko Peace FAGs :P
