2. Roster Requirements:

- Each Team protects up to 10 carded players prior to drafting.

- Eligibility requirements for non-carded to your franchise players: Hitters is 4 years service [b:e1a5485083]or [/b:e1a5485083]1000 AB's..... Starting Pitchers is 4 years service [b:e1a5485083]or [/b:e1a5485083]500 IP's.... Relief Pitchers only is 2 years service [b:e1a5485083]or [/b:e1a5485083]100 IP's.

- Exception Clause: You may draft TWO players who played for your franchise but does not meet the eligibility requirements.

- You must include Protected players on your AD list or they become FA's.

- You must carry at least 15 carded franchise players at all times.

3. Line Up Requirements:

- Each Team must use a STRICT 5 man Starting Pitcher rotation. You must also carry at least 6 pitchers who can start. This covers any injury that may occur. NO STARTING PITCHER CAN GO ON LESS THAN 4 DAYS REST!
- Each team must have at least one "4", "3", and "2" or worse rated defensive players in their everyday fielding lineups.

4. Stadium Requirements: Each team must use one of their available stadiums whose combined HR (L/R) chances total at least 12.

St Louis Cardinals - Sportsman 41 & 57

No prob majic... wanted to get it posted so that there was plenty of time for people to work on their rosters and protections.

Protections,could somebody explain that one to me. Who can I protect?

WB... u can protect 10 of the players carded to your franchise. We'll get a post started where we list who we are protecting.

Example: I can protect Ty Cobb and Rocky Colavito since they have Tigers cards, but not Al Simmons (A's) or Johnny Pesky (Red Sox)... even though they played for Detroit at one time. Also, I don't have to use a protection on a Charlie Gehringer or Al Kaline because they played solely for the Tigers.

Just to clarify a few things:

We are protecting 10 carded players, but EVERYONE has to have those service requirements (except for 2 guys, who just need 1 AB / 1 IP)? And 15 of the 25 guys (presumably the 10 you protect plus 5 others) have to be carded?


We have to have at least 3 guys in the field: one with a 4 rating, one with a 3 rating, and one with a 2 rating?
