OK...Before this becomes the draft that "time forgot", here are our options:
1. Fatty surfaces, makes his pick, draft resumes.
2. The clock is going on in 2 hours, Fatty never surfaces (which would
be a big surprise, because I've played in 2 leagues with him and he
is a solid player). Draft resumes less 1 manager.
3. About the 4th round, we are going to have a big problem if Fatty still
hasn't surfaced...we will have an imbalance in the draft. If Fatty does
resume drafting at that point, we probably would still be OK but how
far do we go with only 11 managers.
4. Or...we can look for a replacement manager if Fatty still hasn't
checked in by, say, noon EST today...Draft order stays the same
and we insert an interested manager into Fatty's spot.
Stuff happens suddenly in peoples lives...I lived that personally this past summer when instead of going home from work as usual, I went for an ambulance ride and an overnight in the hospital. Of course checking in on strat was not an option then.
I am going to ask that if nobody has a problem with OPTION #4, then at noon today I am going to try to insert a replacement manager (I hope the draft engine would allow this...does anyone know if it's possible to do this?)
SOGCOMMANDO...PENNGRAY...are you out there? Would either of you be interested?
Guys...let me know what you think...
