You can cut them, but they do become FA's at that point.

5 Man Rotation Question:

Is this a strict 5 man rotation? Say I have the Phillies and want Pete to start every 4th day, but still use all 5 starters in my rotation. Is this acceptable?

as the guy with Pete Alexander, I am very interested in the answer to andycummings question about the 5-man rotation.. also does the 5 man rotation requirement apply to the playoffs as well?

also, does the phrase "you must carry 15 carded players at all times" refer to our in-season roster only, or must our auto-draft card contain at least 15 carded players from our franchise?

yes 2city, thought you might want to know. I have used 5-man rotations before where i have had 1 Ace who pitched every 4th day, and the other 4 starters fit around that (have tried it with 2 Aces rotating through as well)

STRICT 5 man rotation... no SP may go on less than 4 days rest.

This was the part of the hint dealing with the way the game is played today. And you MUST carry a 6th pitcher that can start if there is an injury.

As for the 15 carded players... we are on our honor here to include those 15 on our draft list. However, it is unlikely that everyone will get all of their players in the draft. You must have them on your roster by opening day though.
