Jimmy,
I'm no live draft expert but the proposed timeline is very optimistic.
If anything, I find the middle rounds to take the longest as owners ponder over either filling holes or countering divisional owners' line-up selections. Moreover, you can only proxy so many catchers before you run out of computer logic, e.g., Carter IF GONE Pena IF GONE Parrish IF GONE Davis.
Anyone can take [b:67b9f5daf6]George Brett[/b:67b9f5daf6] without thinking hard - it is when you are choosing among the building or defending that consumes time.
Even if we all used proxies and promised to ensure we had no less than 13 players loaded per round, it just takes one or two outages to slow the process.
As for missing the post waiver frenzy due to my travel schedule, [b:67b9f5daf6]I'd desire to be around for it and can probably live without it[/b:67b9f5daf6]. However, I would be very limited during the following week or so to make adjustments until the week after the first games.
If you are asking me, I'd rather go slow and can live with picking one or two rounds per day. At least, my baseline expectations would be set.
BTW, I picked already
