Hey, Bernie, I've been relatively quiet through all of this, but I felt like it was time to chime in and say thanks. I bought an 80's team with the discount (which I probably would not have done without the offer) and I am looking forward to '06. I feel that the gesture was appropriate to the circumstances and although I was frustrated for a few days, I don't feel aggrieved like some here do. I think that the gesture was probably as good as could be expected and while I agree that it benefited ATG, 1969 and 80s guys more than 200X players, I don't know an answer to that.

I am new to this and stink at it but love to come home and check out just how bad I lost. If you buy a 5 team pack can you only play 1 or 2 teams at a time or do you have to play them all at once? As for Bernie I love him and think he and his crew have done a great job and I don't even know a thing about him except he has a family and spent the weekend away from them and that is sad :cry: You rock Bernie and so does your crew.

I know it ends today but he did say that since I was coming to him at the time that he would make sure I still get a discount. I don't have the money this week and I am still entitled to the discount just like everyone else. It's not my problem that nobody else asked him. All I know is...he told me "yes".

Last year's discount was similar to this one.. It was offerred due to constant problems with the (old) message boards, and I personally lobbied for it. It had nothing to do with a new game coming out.
