Remember, stolen bases aren't year-specific; they are normalized for everyone with that steal rating. Trust me, I'd love it if I could get Davis' 80-steal season and have him steal like it, but he will steal like any other AA stealer . . . which isn't as good as you would think.

Unless I am wrong on this? Don't think so but would love to be wrong.

BTW, i had him play in 162 games, with 645 ABs . . . he was also 40-40. But as is always the story . . . swept outta the playoffs, bleh.

You guys are intense. I figure, a card won't be injured for more a week, and I can adjust on that. It doesn't matter. If the card is out for the playoffs, that is a problem, but here is little you can do about that.

My good luck charm in the '70's game, was Mota, who was always injured.

A player like Davis, you devote 7.5 million to, it is annoying to have him out of the line-up, but worst case, your still going to get 130 games out of it.

Mota is the worst injury card there is, but I could still get 110 games, and a .320+ batting average. He just needs some time outs.
