WATCHMEN League

What do we want to do here?

Postby TomSiebert » Mon Mar 30, 2009 1:26 pm

Jason tells me he can enter now....do we want to go back to East flips with West? Or just wait on Mark? Any ideas?

Tom, If Jason can enter then you can go back to the league you created. AFDickie and you are still there, I can enter right now and Jason can enter and pass the password on to the central. SGT D

what sarge said. let's get one east ANY east filled. if rick can enter now, go to original league you created, sarge fills, and we worry about your blood relative later. the central feels so neglected in all this...

I don't feel that neglected...

...or maybe I am just distracted by the foot and a half of snow that fell last night.

We closed our business for the day due to the bilzzard (www.recsupply.com, in case anyone is interested in what I do for a living). Funny, huh? Pool supplies in North Dakota. Good thing our customer base is largely outside the state.

Anyway, will keep checking in periodically and enter one of the Watchmen leagues whenever possible.

Cal, I don't know what's more amazing, all the weather that N.D. is experiencing and being tested by this past week, or the fact that inspite of dealing with all that, YOUVE been amongst the most conscienctous about checking in here. for shame on the laggards. may they get inadvertantly shoveled into a frozen sandbag. (after finally loading their teams of course.)

At last! Maybe we can get everyone in....tonight??? I'd really love to get waivers done and be able to set my team and lineup before Friday, because this is going to be a tough weekend for me.

Little River Nite Owls.....LOL.....

Loved "The A-Team," back in the day, too....the updated big budget, big screen version is finally back on track, after it got derailed when director John Singleton (Boyz n the Hood, Shaft) dropped out; he's finally been replaced by Joe Carnahan (Narc, Smokin' Aces), for a probable summer 2010 release, in an attempt to jumpstart a lucrative new film franchise for 20th Century Fox.

Characters will be updated to Gulf War vets instead of 'Nam, but the central premise and characterizations will be the same....George Clooney as Hannibal? Val Kilmer as Face? Josh Brolin as Mad Dog? Michael Clark Duncan as B.A.? I'd pay to see it!

Lock 'n' load, ladies! Let's fill the Central ( WATCHMEN / ticking ) and finish this baby tonight!
