Good news: My team with a paltry 719 OPS is averaging over 5 runs per game.

Bad News: My team's WHiP is 2.00 and ERA is 10.66

Only three games but hopefully posting this will shape my staff into proper gear 8-)

How about the Penny Pinching Tornadoes pounding out 20 runs last night?

News update on Grendles Modor's pitching stat lines:

CC. Sabathia : Whip 1.23 ERA 6.92
Dan Haren : Whip 3.20 ERA 16.20
Joe Saunders : Whip 1.71 ERA 7.71
David Bush : Whip 1.94 ERA 11.11
Aaron Cook: Whip 2.12 ERA 9.52
Mariano Rivera : Whip 4.48 ERA 26.87
Hong-Chih Kuo : Whip 1.96 ERA 7.04
Joe Nathan : Whip 4.48 ERA 26.87
Mike Adams : Whip : 1.50 ERA 6.14

Thats 47.25 Mil of Salaries

If you combine that with an offense running at a .706 OPS you get a nice 0-6 record

You are allowed to bring up injury replecement's and expand your rosters. I check the transactions and make sure there are no shenanigans.
This was brought up last year and it was decided that it's okay to just bring the replacement guy up and send him down once the injury is done. Instead of doing a swap and then another swap.

Dan Uggla, Josh Beckett, Leo Nunez, Mike Lowell, Carlos Delgado, Rick Ankiel, Greg Dobbs, Mark DeRosa & Chris Snyder are all available for the right offer. My main need is SP, also a closer, but will entertain any & all offers.

I might be tempted to trade Geovany Soto.

I am looking for a top starting pitcher in the
Lincecum/Halladay/Santana mold.

I can offer Soto and a second-tier starting
pitcher (Cain, Verlander, Jimenez, Johnson) in any
deal.

If you're interested let me know.
