I'd try it this way :

Joe
Cochrane
Dawson/Hernandez
Valentine/ Dawson
Hernandez / Valentine
Gilliam , Bowa, Collins in some order.

I always bat the top 3 that way. Bowa always 8th. I'd leave Valentine 4. The other 3 aren't concrete. The best of the clutch of the 3, I would put 5th.

Get as many people as possible on base for Jackson and Valentine. Is Judge or Steinfeldt available? I would much rather see one of them at leadoff, but with this crew, this is how I would bat them.
