Been some time since I've played ATG2, any comments would be appreciated. There are two '65 Dodger Stadiums and one '56 Yankee Stadium in my division.

Its definately not a terrible team . I wouldn't go as far to say its a champ either . I would think around .500 or a bit above could happen . Throughout your team you have doable players , none great and none bad. It may just work out for you .

Any recommendations for upgrading (and who to downgrade for the cash)?

I'm not an Eck fan. Way too much money. Downgrade him and upgrade your aces. You also need more OBP in your offense for Forbes.

I would downgrade Eck in favor of someone in Newhouser's pay range, and try to get one elite ($10M plus) starter. A little better OBP at a few positions might be in order, although the defense is good. Here is a recent Griffith team I had, that won the title, and was in a very tough division against experienced competition.

Dropped: Maddox, Eckersley, McCormick, Doerr, Gardner
Added: Scott, Henke, Judge, Bishop, and Boggs

Could get Bowa or Aparcio for SS to free up cash.

If it was me, I would turn Henke into Fosnow (he is a popular RP for Forbes/Griffith). I would rather than Cicotte than Scott. Definitely get Sanguillen in place of Yeager. Downgrade Boggs to Steinfeldt. If you have the money to turn your OF platoon into F Alou after those moves, I would do so. I would prefer Chapman over McDougald because of his 1 range at SS. If you cannot afford Alou, then have 2 SP between Scott, Cicotte, Hubbell, and Young.

Sorry, but I just don't like alot of what I see there.

Judge, Speaker & Cobb are keepers. Boggs is fine. Yeager, Bishop, McDougald and your LF platoon need to go.

C = Sanguillen, Gibson, Schalk
2B = Must be a 1, just not Bishop
SS = Must also be a 1, Chapman, Bowa, Fernandez, Aparicio
LF = Even on a smallball team, I like to have one or two sluggers in the lineup

Mike Scott can be awesome, but there may be better options. Walter Johnson is solid in a pitchers park.

You've got too many cheap relievers, if you have them, HAL will use them more than you'd like, turn them into nickel starters and bury them in your rotation while using the per game starter option.

Martinez is a gem in Forbes.
