Frank Thomas for Richie Sexson... should I do it?

Granted I am not good at this game and Bigmahon you have forgotten more than I know. But I need help for future reference at the beggining of the year would you draft either Sexson or Thomas? and if you had a choice who would you pick?

Buck, good idea with Burke, I like him. Can't argue with that many hits on a card and that clutch. I must say though, that it must be bittersweet losing out on the wild card to your sons team, that we jointly made into the team it currently is.

The ironic part of this discussion is I had Thomas early in the year and dropped him when he got a lengthly injury to help facilitate a separate trade.

Hey Lil' Bro,

In the end, you maed the right move dumping Sexson for Burke. Thomas would have gone and injured himself playing for you anyway.

Now there is peace in our family again thanks to all good advice from the SOM community. :D

So, of course, after my lil' bro picks up Burke, he gets injured in his first series. Tough luck.

Thomas/Sexson is an oft used injury platoon.

Thomas is better because he's stronger against RHP, which you face 60-75% of the time. End of dicsussion.

the great beast...

I had Burke once and I think he set some kind of record...666 at-bats and no home runs...

I think the 666 was too much for him...he stubbed his toe in the last game of the season and went down for three games...in his first at-bat back (in the playoffs) he hurt himself using the water cooler and went down for 15 games...
