KD, No sweat on Soto, figured you got "a deal you couldn't refuse" just wished you'd have told me what interesting meant, that's all. Didn't know if it was good, bad, or weird.

As for Adenhart, a tragedy, a damn shame you do hope it becomes a lesson for people, but unfortunately as humans, we tend to be to arrogant in our belief that "it can't happen to me" and we continue to do these things to each other. :cry:

I sent condolances to our mutual friend who is connected to the situation around noon time right after the story broke. I can't imagine what she must be dealing with.

I did as well. You are so right - it really does tear you up when things like this happen.

And always take the time to tell those close to you how much they mean to you. You never know when your time is up.

I was saddened by the news of Adenhart, watching MLB coverage for a good chunk of time yesterday- a tragedy for 4 families.

I don't have the lists in front of me, but I was thinking maybe we should allow whomever has him to draft another prospect. After all, this wasn't your typical baseball injury

I do think that's a good idea Smitty. If someone else owned him I would vote to allow that owner a replacement if he so wished.

But as Adenhart's manager, I am going to carry him on my roster all year. I wouldn't feel right releasing him right now. :cry:
