Guys I don't have strong feelings one way or another, but I do know that we set it up this way and some people don't like changing in mid-stream. Frankly I can't blame them.

All that said, it would be so easy for each manager to send your cell number to the person drafting just ahead of you on the list. When I make my choice, for example, I could text the manager who is next, and so on. It eliminates the delay and could actually speed it up.

I'm going to start the process by PMing my cell phone number to Slug. Scott, send me yours if you don't mind. Everyone else can fall in line and we can knock this thing out.

Paul

Or, if you prefer, send me your cell # and I'll alert you myself. Don't worry, I won't sell your number, call you with indecent proposals, or try to get you to buy a vacuum cleaner.

YF, I'm cool with an autodraft too. But if we have to go forward with a live draft, then we must impose the limits and the skipping.

The problem with the autodraft is that you can target a certain player for a position, but if you don't get him, you don't get the second guy you might have chosen at that spot. You get whoever they award you instead.

So the live draft has a certain advantage over the autodraft in that you can really select more of YOUR team that way.

Of course the drawback is it may take 3 weeks to get through 5 rounds of a live draft.

I am ok with auto draft also... But Want to make sure there is no trades with picks in the trade. That would not be fair if someone traded for a pick and did not get it.... Other then that I am all for auto draft. I say one round is good enough for me.... Just no one take my players.

While i prefer live drafts, i'm ok with an autodraft.

That said, I agree with AllStarInc about the time limits.. i think that with a concerted effort, we can bang this thing out.

One pick today.I give up and I am done drafting. I'll take my chances in the autodraft...and this will be my last season.

I think that this is a great long-term concept league, and unfortunately, the only time that we hit a snag is due to the slowness of the draft.

I don't think that its a great idea to change paths mid-draft, but it doesn't seem like anyone else here is particularly averse to autodrafting.

we'll put all of our picks at the top of our lists, so there will be minimal instances of mgrs not getting there players.
