My latest speed team

My latest speed team

Did very well in the draft for this DH speed team. Only main player I missed on was Chance. Got Herandez AD and replaced him with Judge in waivers. Was thinking instead of that that I could use Snodgrass at 1b and Devore in CF.

As usual wasn't sure which park to go for so this time took the Astrodome. Maybe one of the ATG III parks will have high singles and low homeruns.

How many steals will this team end up with?

The starting 9 hitters before crunching numbers are:
C Kling with Schalk for D
1b Judge
2b Morgan
SS Bush
3b Steinfeldt
LF Henderson
CF Snodgrass
RF Cobb

I am leaning torwards a 5 man rotation of Maxwell, Sadecki, Speer, Petry and R. Caldwell, and that way I can use Harrish, Forsch, and Roe in the pen, along with Eck, Hughes, and Brusstar

Other 3 parks in division are '67 Fenway, '62 Candlestick, and '27 Yankee

I just started up this speed team on Monday. So far, so good. Currently on pace for 800 + Stolen Bases.

This is the lineup I am thinking of going with both ways.
1. Morgan, Joe (L) 2B
2. Coleman, Vince (S) DH
3. Cobb, Ty (L) RF
4. Oakland #24 (R) LF
5. Judge, Joe (L) 1B
6. Steinfeldt, Harry (R) 3B
7. Snodgrass, Fred (R) CF
8. Kling, Johnny (R) C
9. Bush, Donie (S) SS

Sorry EGVRICH I like my speed team better. You have too many guys in the lineup that lose way to much in the clutch which of course lowers their chance to get on base and to steal. I like that Cobb has 25 steals all ready for you though 8) What do you have team stealing and baseruning set at?

Didn't even go for him, some reason I liked Henderson better. Maybe for the bphrs since even the 87 Cardinals needed Jack Clark's power.

Was counting on Chance as number 2 hitter with Coleman hitting 9th.

I am thinking of very aggresive for steals but normal for base running since I hate to get a runner thrown out since that eliminates a stolen base chance. And of course setting some players at steal more like Cobb and Coleman and ... 8)
