I think the girls will have plenty of stories to tell their friends - looks like you did the entire town and had a great time doing it.

It was a great time, and yes tmy girls had a blast. We tried to pack as much in as we could given our time constraints but there's SO much to see and do just not possible to get everywhere in 2 and 1/2 days.

okay, trades are all good, I've checked everything out and everyone is all set. As a result of the deals, Cubs48 and I are only carring 39 man rosters so we will only have to make 2 cuts for the upcoming between seasons 3 round supplemental draft.

Thanks again to KD for minding the store for me.

Thanks Bill :)

Also, Cummings is carrying only a 38 man roster right now and only drops 1 for the supplemental draft.

I don't get it...

I have the third best offense, only off by 6 RS to be tops in the league...

I have the 6th best pitching...

My exp. rec shows at 36-33 which would put me tied at the 4th best record in the league...

yet I'm sitting at 29-40 wth the second worst record in the league and things ain't getting better as I'm riding an 8 game losing streak :(

Charlie - sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the bug.

Although in your case a lot of the time you're the whole hive...

It's your record in 1 run games 6-15 which points to your bullpen and what I think is the problem with your team. Your best reliever Kuo, is LH as is one of your other relievers, Carlson which playing in Camden isn't a great fit. It turns all the switch hitters you face into RH hitters and gives them a more favorable match up. That said I also don't think Kuo is getting enough innings for you for the money you're paying for him

All speculation on my part so take it with a grain of salt.

Not to split hairs, but in unlimited cap leagues like this, it's not how much money you're paying any particular player, but is the best player at the position being used optimally? If Kuo is far & away Chuck's best RP, then he should get the most usage, but in this environment TSN salary is not the best indicator of card worth.

Remember his salary is based on 80M league assumption, which heavily factors the R3 into his price. Card-wise, as a LH, I put him on par with a RH R1 making around $3.5-4M. So if Chuck's lesser-priced RH RPs are getting same usage as Kuo, no issue as long as they are getting used mostly in situations where they should be effective.

Also, while a 6-15 record in one-run games may have something to do with the bullpen, most saberhead studies seem to show 1-run game record is not statistically correlatable to any factor. In other words, there is no predictability to 1-run records and in SOM we chalk that up to bad dice more than anything else.
