You prolly would have taken Ellsbury with your next pick if C2 hadn't taken him! ;)

Back to Big M. Hopefully he'll be checking in soon and nothing serious has occurred.

Looks like Big M is going to miss another clock. Do we want to skip him again? In the past when something like this has happened to someone, they were having computer (or other) problems?

Commish, anyone else? Any thoughts?

I do not consider 100m easier than 80m - just more fun. I like choice and 100m provides more choice in how to build your team & more challenge because there is less depth afterwards. I find 80m leagues to be easier to play in because there is plenty of available talent left to use if your first choices are gone or stink.

I am curious to see WM/JTJs win % in 100m leagues ... I bet they actually do worse in 100m leagues - so they're just trying to blow smoke with all this talk about 80m being more challenging. ;)

That's nice of you Smokey, I guess that will carry us through till 10pm EDT (3am BST)

AT, last 100 mill, we finished middle of the pack, 2 games under 500, 3 games behind a playoff team. The one before that we finished with 97 wins. The best record since NLD1. It's not the competitive thing, just think 80 has more challenges. You think opposite. That's cool. As I said, I'm not opposed to playing 100, just like 80 better. Usually we take a vote after the first NLD of the year.

I love baker's card and price tag. I think he is a nice value in this set. the fact that his card can play in any park as well surely does not hurt. i would not be surprised if he had baker anyway.

yeah, Baker is a good little player if you already have some power. You have to platoon him whereas you don't with McCann, but he *is* a lot cheaper to be sure.

As I said, we considered him ourselves.
