Sorry about the clock, I got called into work this morning, and did not have a chance to reset it before I left the house. It will revert back to 3 hours after BigM makes his next pick. I know that screws up proxies etc, if he doesn't make his pick, but all I can do is apologize.

yeah Jeep, *huge* surprise. The only question was which HR park you would take. ;) Figured that you had to at least consider US Cell....

No worries Niners. Thanks for taking care of things.

Since I have plenty of lefty hitters I decided on GAB over The Cell.

Niners, it didn't slow us down any, no probs.

While we're waiting for AT make his pick, I found this today in the Giants' beat writer's blog. I didn't know Miller was playing in the back to the 80's league!

'He (Jon Miller) used to be a major Strat-O-Matic enthusiast as a kid, but he has refrained from participating in any kind of fantasy leagues after he began his broadcasting career. He didn’t want to confuse the fantasy world from the real one. He changed his mind this year, though. He was invited to play in a league using stats from a season in the 1980s, so he figured there wouldn’t be any harm in that. Even Jamie Moyer was a minor leaguer back then.

But Miller was broadcasting an ESPN game a couple weeks ago between the Cubs and Brewers when a reliever on one of those Strat-O-Matic rosters did him in.

“The Cubs have a second baseman named Mike Fontenot,” Miller said. “And I kept calling him Ray Fontenot.”'

[quote:460dd8a06c="joethejet"]Ok, not trying to pick on Smokey's pick or anything because he *is* a 9R, but look at Gonzalez' card v LHB!

17.05 real HRs and 8 BPHRs.

Nothing much else there, but that's what you call hit and miss! ;)[/quote:460dd8a06c]

there are about 4 teams i would be afraid to throw him against and yours aint one of them. Cool

If i were in your shoes, i would focus on the *other*side of his card!
