NEW SUMMER LEAGUE - AUCTION BLOCK - BIDS ONLY!

Postby Palanion » Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:28 pm

Hodges - Palanion - 2.7

Rick: Why don't we just say how much we would be willing spend on this guy and save a couple more days? :P

bkeat: So, now you have two 1B, 3 SS, and 2 3B. So, assuming there will be some platooning, I bet Alou and Ruth will share LF, leaving you to get Hooper for RF.

<sigh> I guess that I haven't had access to the internet for 30 hours - being in a car all day and then flying across the Pacific all night will do that... won't be enough to re-open bidding on Boggs.

Ah well... greetings from Taipei airport.... enjoy Boggs. :?

I was hoping you'd bid again :(

Glad it was a safe trip. :D

Well I still have 3.5 hours to go until I reach Bangkok, but at least here I can get a free WiFi access point until the flight boards.

Do I assume you'd rather not have Boggs? If the others agree to a rule exception on account of the fact I didn't have internet access for 30 hours, I will gladly take him for 1.3.

I have no problem with you guys opening Boggs back up to gorshar! We've made other exceptions this one seems plenty valid.

BIDDING UPDATE - AND BIDDING DECISION

Postby DOHowser1 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:27 am

I am going to go out on the limb here and agree to award Boggs to Gorshar for 1.3 because of his unexpected problem while traveling. Going back over the bidding on Boggs, it was restricted to only Gorshar and BKeat, and they both have agreed to this decision. So, in order to get on with it, and keep things going, below find Bidding update based on this decision. Please keep in mind, BKeat was awarded two players, one being Boggs, and therefore nominated two new players, Hooper and Sanguillen. For the sake of speeding this up, I would also suggest we just stay with those two current nominations! These players are fringe players, so it shouldn't make much difference. If anyone objects to this, then we will open this back up......but again, for the sake of keeping this moving, I suggest we do it.

BIDDING UPDATE:

Boggs awarded to Gorshar for 1.3

Roebuck: .9 DOHowser Monday 08:48
Hooper: .7 BKeat Monday 12:37
Sanguillen: .5 BKeat Monday 12:40
Hodges: 2.9 MRBBW Monday 17:39
Wood: .7 MJRuth Monday 22:04
