To the New Tiger Stadium to see the Yankees play tomorrow.

Hopefully they can stop the slide :?

Well, I don't see it as turning back the clock, as I would pay 100K over your bid.

On the other thread, mjruth offered no problem with re-opening the bidding. So I think at this point we really need to get some feedback from the other owners about this as I did want Boggs.

My excuse is I expected to get a free WiFi signal at San Francisco airport and it didn't work out that way...

In regard to the TURNING BACK THE CLOCK ISSUE, I have not really been following what is going on here, but if there is an issue with someone not being able to keep up, because of unexpected issues, I have no problem with TURNING BACK THE CLOCK, if all managers who were involved in the bidding agree.

But, if the clock is turned back, and the bidding continues on the original player, the issue then becomes, what happens with the next player who was nominated?

Fine with me to turn back the CLOCK. Just let the bidding continue on the next player and nominate nobody new when the turn back player goes again.

Let us know what New Tiger is like bkeat!

I have no problem with the Boggs decision.

New Tiger, Comerica, sucks in comparison to the old stadium for seeing a game. Want a ferris wheel or merry-go-round ride, it's the place for you. Upper deck at the old stadium was great, even in the field of play as it hung over the RF corner. New upper deck is set back, and it's far away from the action, even in the 1st row.

Nicer bathrooms, more concessions, but when you're in your seat watching a game, the old place was better by a large margin.

You asked

Question??

Postby bkeat23 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 8:40 am

and the Mysterians....

Oh wait a minute....

when the bidding is over on Sanguillen and Big Bird's friend Mr Hooper, should I place one nomination, pending gorshar's new nomination?

I'll be away from Web access this afternoon into early tomorrow AM. If there's no consesus, I can nominate 2 anyway, and then the second player can be pulled from consideration of the decision is made to go that direction.

Thoughts?

I won't be awake tonite at that time, anyone want to take a proxy nomination in the event I win Sanguillen at that time?

I have meetings at work until tomorrow afternoon, so it may be a while until I can get a new player in.

Thanks.

First meeting's a webcast, so I can ,multitask.

Once this league starts, anyone interested in starting another draft right away? $60M would be interesting. :D
