There are still a couple of really solid teams left for this league. I can't believe, for example, that no one has jumped on the Braves yet. And how about the Astros (great staff), and the Orioles with Tejada and Roberts up the middle, or the A's.

Page2 - A question - Does the former player for $4 million clause apply if the player came from the base teams minor leagues, or does it only count if the player appeared in the majors with the base team?

For example - let's say the Phillies traded a AA player to another team before he ever appeared in a game with the Phils. He goes on to reach the majors later with the team he was traded to. Can I spend $4 million for him as a former player, or only $2 million because he never made it to the bigs with the Phils?

The 4 mil only counts if that player played in the majors for your base team.
