You might have a real shortage on available hitters. Of the 663 hitters in ATG II, only 222 are LHB. With 12 teams and 15 players per team (180 needed), you will have enough but some poor sole is going to be trotting Homer Summa out to play LF :cry:

shortstop should cover some of that problem. That is a maximum of two right-handers on each team (one starter/one back-up). Some teams only carry 13 payers. So figure 11-13 times 12 = 121 to 156. It could be a bit tough... but whats a theme league without a littel bit of a challenge!!!

There are only 11 reserve catchers under $1mil and you could get Schulte, O'Dea, or Quirk :shock: as your catcher for 15 easy. I like limiting leagues but this is too much.

I am all for compromising if it will:

make more people join
make the theme more interesting


As for the catchers how about this:

one >1mil RH catcher will be allowed
two RH SS would be allowed

no more than two (C and SS) RH players aloowed in line-up

Fowldawg - I'm in either way. However, you're right the rules need to be revised to get more interest.

The theme is to have a "mostly lefty" line-up

$80 mil/ No DH/ Waivers/ Autodraft

All players must be lefthanded EXCEPT:

*each team may carry two RH shortstop (one must be under $1.00)
*only one of these SS's may be in the game at a time
*back-up shortstop can only be set as a def. replacement at SS
*each team may carry one RH catcher under $1.00
*the RH catcher must be a back-up (plays during injuries only)
*11 max pitchers
*15 max hitters
*Any stadiums allowed

I am open to any other suggestions... would love to see this take off!!
