Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

[quote:fc5f7e9242="Jimmy_C"]Usually by now you can tell who is having a great draft. But with the 70's/80's thing going on, it really makes it tough to tell. Personally I think DJ and Paul are having great drafts, followed closely by Randy.

Since I've been picking balanced 70's/80's players I think I'm successfully building two .500 teams...[/quote:fc5f7e9242]

Jimmy, we've not played in many leagues together, but you need to know that my M.O. is "great drafts, mediocre managing."

I think ChaseNally is having a great draft ... I love doing live drafts, but I sit back and look at my teams sometimes as I'm drafting, and think, "Who is this manager drafting my team, and what is he smoking?"

I too believe that I am building two .500 teams (or slightly sub .500 teams) ... time will tell; but, the drafting is as much (or more) fun than the playing of the games.

JSam, I had lunch with my (soon to be) stepson at the Hot Stove in Harwichport today ... made me think of you. Hope all is well, my friend.

I too am building boring sub .500s teams with guys I don't normally draft. Only had Reggie once and cut him after 20 games cause I had his worst year. Parrish is not my type of player. The SOM gods welcome my $50 donation for this binge.

I hope that you are right. I do have the most money spent but I am having trouble up the middle. It looks like it all come up to what HAL gives you in the cards. I worship HAL and he is the most powerful of all servers that walks the strat-this-phere.  8-) :D Mike

I agree it's frustrating, but I am more concerned that everything is OK with durantjerry at this point.
