DJ must be very busy and not have the time to check in all the time. Real life stuff will do that to you. He usually doesn't hold a draft up. Hopefully he can find a way to check in more often.

It's not stated in the rules, but I assume that if we don't get the "superstar" player we want in the auto draft, we have the opportunity to place a waiver claim on another (replacing the one we got stuck with). Is that correct?

The only guys you are stuck with are the guys you draft in the live draft. adds/drops can be made all season long with everyone else, including any potential non 70s/80s players who may go undrafted in the live draft.
