Per Jeeps comments, I figured I'd publish the Fielding Ratings. Jeep, as he noted, is off the charts!

Jeep 82
Stoney 169
Warrior 302
AT 420
C2 490
Big A 550
Niners 561
Wineman 563
Smoke 584
Silver 714
Hawk 768
Big M 779

In a normal league, Stoney's D would be far and away the best, but Jeep decided to go overboard! ;) Having a pair of 1e8's at 2b/ss and a 1 -2 e3 in CF is enough to give you a very good rating, but throwing in 1's on the OF corners is overkill ;) Too bad you didn't take Mauer instead of Napoli, you'd have a NEGATIVE fielding rating! :D

I haven't run through for the park adjustments yet, but it would appear that Jeep's offense isn't the worst and Stoney's is slightly better than Jeep's.

It would appear that Burgundy, Smokey and Silver have the best Offenses.

Again, none of that is adjusted for parks and I may have a platoon wrong here or there.

Hawk,

Ouch. That blows.

Warrior,

Gee, I don't know. $6 mil for a 31.88 ERA? Sounds about right. ;) :P :P Man, that's a tough start.

Hey C2,

I was thinking...shouldn't the song for Wineman and me be "Wineman and the Jet"??? A little Elton John. ;)

Jet

...well... dunno. If the sing alongs continue to be a way of killing some time while the draft is going on... and if you guys are up for a pick AND you want some Elton John... how 'bout:

ahem, ahem, ahem... (cough, cough, clear throat)

... piano:

... sexy voice:

Don't wish it away
Don't look at it like it's forever
'cause of Wineman and Jet
I could honestly say
This draft can only get better

And while we all wait
Dust out the ratings inside
And it won't be long
Before some proxies run
To the place in our draft
Where we stop

And I guess that's why
They call it "Live" drafts
Waiting for Jet
Could be time spent with wineman
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call him the "Jet" :P

I'd continue but the next stanza is:

Just stare into space
Picture my face in your hands
Live for each second
Without hesitation
And never forget I'm your man

...and methinks that if I write a spin on [i:4464b370cc]that[/i:4464b370cc]... It might just cme across pervy -not funny :P

:D

Nice work C2.

I still think "Winey and the Jet" would be a better tune, but this made me laugh.

Thanks man,

Jet

Bats were due after that first series. Still may have to change my team name to the Mendozas.
