This is going along extremely well now! Soon we will be able to pop our teams into a league and watch the results of all of our efforts.
I am curious to know, how many of you would like to do this, or something similar to this again?
I was thinking that in order to spread out the player pool further, that perhaps we could do the same thing again, only we would each have two teams, and when we win the bid on a player, we could then announce which of our teams he would be playing on. That announcement would have to come immediately of course, as it may effect the strategy of the other players on their team builds. Doing it in this fashion may well increase the tactics necessary to ensure that we all have two competitive teams. It may also remove some of the predicability of some of the bidding patterns.
I feel that it would be essential that we name our teams the same followed by a 1 and a 2. That should help to ease potential confusion a bit. ie. The Seattle Maritimers1 and The Seattle Maritimers2. If I win a bid on, say, Mays, and then announce that he will play on 2, it is clear and should not cause contraversy later on.
Thoughts?
