Rooks, I don't have any problem with the change. You certainly know the league better than we do. Perhaps we could limit each team to, say, 3 $0.75 after game 81 (i.e., not 3 on a roster at a time, but 3 in total).

I would consider it (even from the league start) but it's up to Jablowmi, it's his league. My only concern about the present rules is that the player population might be tight and we might be in a situation where the manager dealt the best hand will be hard to beat and conversely a manager dealt a lousy hand might be out of it from the get-go.

There are 202 hitters below $4M and above .75. Add 12 (studs) to that number and you have 214. That is an average per team of 17.8. If we all carry 15 from the start of the league that means we each get about 2 or 3 unused players to try. very very tight.

I don't really have any problem with opening it up to unlimited .75 centers from the beginning. I just copied the rule from the other league. If we open it up, it will add some flexibility and I can draft Jerry Royster.

I would like to vote for being able to use any hitter below 4m regardless of price. Like NYCalderon says it will give us more options on hitters during the year.

hey there roofinghorse..

Welcome aboard... all you need to do is simply copy and paste the list to your reply and add your name.... like this:

1. Jablowmi - FL
2. LM Bombers - DC
3. PillPop - NJ
4. nycalderon - NB
5. Jimmy C - NY
6. bigdinkent - OH
7. mrmdoetkott - MN
8. dinsdale - WV
9. roofinghorse
10.
11.
12.

Now you should add a state that has a pick 3 so we can determine stud selection order, stadium selection order and division placement.

One other thing... this will be a much more difficult league than the auto leagues... I certainly don't mean to discourage you from joining us at all but as someone who is new to this (new to strat? or new to 80's?) I don't want a bad experience to turn you off from the 80's. If you don't mind ... welcome... we'd love to have you...
