do you notice you have to consistently put in your username and password now? before I'd never have to log in, now I'm going it every couple of days?

My speed is good, and the site has been stable. However, I also have that username and password problem. All and all, I am satisfied with the performance after the upgrade.

and hey canuk--i think the thread viewers you disparaged looked at your subject line and then decided it's not of interest or what they expected--mere curiosity.

Partly this is because the old boards USED to have structure. And people would post strategy stuff in the strategy forum, misc stuff in the SOM forum, requests for technical help in the support forum, off-topic crap in the bullpen, etc. Now everything from everyone gets posted in this top forum and so a lot of the long-timers just aren't on the boards as much anymore.

Oh...and just because it only happens on this site doesn't mean it's not your computer.
In fact it's probably something to do with a buried security option in MSIE and how it handles cached data.
Another reason I don't use MSIE...

Disparaged? The post wasn't meant to be interesting...the point was to ask if anyone else is having this problem. A simple no is sufficient.

No, I didn't notice because I've always been doing that. I didn't know we didn't have to.

[quote:82211dfdaa="1crazycanuk"]Well apparently nobody wants to talk with me. Don't know why they'd bother reading the thread then. :? [/quote:82211dfdaa]

I'd say that's disparaging to those who would peek! :P
