DEF REPL Question

DEF REPL Question

Postby RAYMONDSTRAWN » Tue May 26, 2009 5:56 pm

I don't even know what to call this, I thought it was a double switch and appears not. So here is the scenario. I have Henderson a CF 2, LF1 in my lineup playing CF. My LF is a LF3 great offense.

If I am leading I want to move Ricky Henderson to LF and bring in Devon White to play CF as CF-1.

I figure I got to check "remove for defensive guy" on the LF3, but in manager strategy how do I list the pair,
Henderson first then White
or White first then Henderson
Player in game first then new guy
or new guy and then player in the game

I use to know but I am old now. I looked everywhere for the answer

Thanks to those kind enought to share the correct answer

Here's what you should do in your manager strategies:

Defensive Replacement 1- White CF
Defensive Replacement 2- Henderson LF

I think you want to list Henderson first, then White or HAL will sub White for Henderson and then Henderson is not available to sub for LF. I had this same situation and that's what happened to me.

I think rudeboy had it right. If I remember correctly the key is to make the pair replacement 1&2 or 3&4. Do not spread them over the 2&3 slots.
