Old, fat, lazy

Old, fat, lazy

No, I am not talking about my preference for women on top, rather, the difficulty I am having motivating to complete the roster for my first ever 2005 team. They must have awarded free credits, cause there it was, so I started in on my team. After courageously selecting Randy Johnson, I found myself slack jawed and listless. I just have no desire to paw through two leagues of cards to get the lay of the land. I suppose I will one of these days, but it just seems to be such a chore tonight. I can do an ATG team without thinking. In fact, I am sure you would agree, I usually DO assemble the ATG teams without thinking.

I've had a free 2005 credit for several months. Must be a good customer!

I received a credit for 2005 one time when Bernie awarded credits for the wrong game. I kept it and made the finals with my first team. My second team floundered because I did not have a good closer.

I finally finished my first, and since the 2006 cards are out, I am sure last 2005 team, which I made a Tribe theme team, collecting up as many current and former Indians as practicable. Strange that the pitching is so much better than the hitting, considering the juggernauts they put together in the 90's, and the team they had last year. We'll see what the draft brings, but I can't imagine there will be much competition for the Alomars, Lofton, and the rest.

4 to fill, after a week. An autoleague. Talk about a day late and a dollar short. With the new cards out, not much interest in 2005.
