Still need a few e-mails, it would be a lot easier to notify managers this way, PM me if you want with your address.[/b:ceb1958ef6]

[b:ceb1958ef6]League Structure[/size:ceb1958ef6][/b:ceb1958ef6]

Please confirm that you are OK with these configurations by adding [b:ceb1958ef6]"YES"[/color:ceb1958ef6][/b:ceb1958ef6] next to your name.

[b:ceb1958ef6]League 1 - Standard[/b:ceb1958ef6], DH, auto draft, $80mil cap, unlimited trading, [b:ceb1958ef6]Card set 2001[/b:ceb1958ef6]

[b:ceb1958ef6]League 2 - Two Franchise[/b:ceb1958ef6], DH, serpentine draft, $80mil cap, unlimited trading, non-drafted team players are unavailable, stadium choice limited to one of the two franchises, [b:ceb1958ef6]Card set 2002[/b:ceb1958ef6]

[b:ceb1958ef6]League 3 – OFET[/b:ceb1958ef6] (One player From Each Team), DH, manual serpentine draft, $80mil cap, unlimited trading, [b:ceb1958ef6]Card set 2003[/b:ceb1958ef6]

[b:ceb1958ef6]League 4 - ANTI - Two Franchise[/b:ceb1958ef6], same as League 2 EXCEPT, you make your first pick and then the other 11 managers vote to assign you the worst possible 2nd franchise for your pairing (minimum 162 wins per the PythWL), same draft order used in 2nd round, DH, $100mil cap, unlimited trading, non-drafted team players are unavailable, stadium choice limited to one of the two franchises, [b:ceb1958ef6]Card Set 2004[/b:ceb1958ef6]

[b:ceb1958ef6]League 5 - Small Market[/b:ceb1958ef6], No DH, auto draft, $60mil cap, unlimited trading, [b:ceb1958ef6]Card set 2005[/b:ceb1958ef6]

All leagues will have waivers and 5/10/20

[u:ceb1958ef6]General Comments:[/u:ceb1958ef6]
ANTI-Two Franchise - I understand the concerns about the balance of this league. Let's use the PythWL (thank you Bill James http://www.baseball-reference.com/bullpen/Pythagorean ) to ensure that all teams have a total PythWL of between 158 and 166 wins. I've never seen this type of league, but I think it will be challenging. If I'm wrong PWooten owes you all $10 ;-)

OFET - I can't find a web draft site that includes any 2005 or earlier card sets, so the AD is the only way we can approach this. The AD could make a mess of your initial strategy, but with the $80 mil cap and unlimited trades, it should generate A LOT of trading. Trading = Fun!

Card Set selections - The majority of the managers specified ANY as their preferred card set, I agree with the suggestions to split up the leagues into different card sets. We've all signed up to increase the playability for our investment, and mixing in 5 cards sets maximizes the variations that we will manage.

League Timing - Unless there is a rush, I'd like to target 1 league per week, of course with vacations coming up, I expect that the two franchise leagues will stretch to 2, of course we can handle the drafting of those two leagues while the 3 other AD leagues kickoff.

Championship - Most total points. 1 point per win in each league, 5 points for each semi-final appearance, 10 points for each WS appearance, 20 points for each Championship.[/color:ceb1958ef6]

Just for clarification purposes it is assumed that for those states that have multiple pick 3 results per day that we will always use the evening numbers and not the mid-day numbers.
