League with draw?

Once you picked a league and it has reached 12 teams can you with draw from that league before actual league play begins?

No. Once the league fills you are locked in.

Think about the other side of the coin. How would you like to be in a league that just filled, you are ready for the AD and then some yahoo pulls out of the league for some unknown reason? Then 11 managers, including yourself, are stuck and the league is on hold again. That wouldn't be right at all for the rest of the league.

You have the freedom to enter a league while it is filling, pull out of a league to adjust your player rankings or whatever or even switch leagues all you want before the league fills. That should give you plenty of time to decide if you are ready for the draft or don't want to be in the league after all. Once the league fills however you are locked in and I think that is a great rule.

LMBombers is right on the money with this rule. It would be ridiculous, and frustrating if people could pull out of leagues AFTER they filled.

I'm new to online play and while I don't mine paying 25 bucks to play I'm not thrilled about playing a team with barely anyone I picked. Then again I guess everyone who probably end up picking the same players and all the teams would look to much alike. Still I think I would like a straight up NFL style draft to the current system.

You can do that be using the "Live Draft" function instead of the autodraft.

I can understand your frustration. But the guys told you about the Live Draft Function. When it comes to Auto Drafts, it helps to be creative and not go after the usual suspects. The more creative you can be with how you build your team, the more likely it will be to get most of the players you try for. And you may be surprised , how well some of the lesser known players do. For instance look for 1 or 2 good platoon options.
