Excellent point -- there's very little left. I'll probably have to go with a platoon. It looks like in the NL last year, there were a lot of injured and/or ineffective second basemen (Castillo, Matzui, Weeks, Hudson), so the choices were thin... well, after Fontenot and Chase Utley. Uggla pounds righties, but he's brutal in the field and he almost has to be platooned.

Shortstop is thin [i:2ed57ce7d0]now[/i:2ed57ce7d0], but there were a bunch of great shortstops at the start of the draft -- I counted six that had a 2 defensive rating or better that could also hit, and only Furcal had injury issues.

So we may be on hold for a bit.

I'm actually starting to formulate a plan for my team... I think.

Back to you, Sarge; I made my quotes pretty quickly and Mark had proxies.

dang me, I don't remember the 7th round being the bloodiest! EVERY pick is someone on my radar, but not even on my proxy list yet, except for wagner who was at the top of it! wood, molina, options dieing faster than the infantry in the cornfield at antietam

Here comes the closer run. Glad I'm up next. Good analogy,Meat. That was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War.
