Terry picked and I picked and we are to Cal. Got the player I wanted, Schumaker. Lineup is looking balanced at the moment, as I have 1 (S), 3 (LHH), 3 (RHH). SGT D

I had Murphy to start with in the Watchmen League, but he didn't really serve the purpose. Never got going with the bat as much as I expected, and the few times I used Jay Bruce he pounded the ball, so I made Bruce Murphy's platoon partner -- except Murphy's weaker against lefties to begin with, so there was no point keeping him around. I also got tired of his defense, which probably reflected his real-life struggles more than it should have.

All positions have been filled except second base. I'm glad I have Fuentes back as closer, but waited too long for set-up relievers. Of course, Geary really didn't work out in the Watchmen League in that role, but that was bad luck -- 15 home runs given up in about 68 innings, despite having no home runs on his card.

A/L players. IVE cleaned down to the 1m mark at every position including pitchers. under 1m, please DOUBLE CHECK league affiliation. I haven't had time to clean out all the rift raft, because its almost impossible to tell which league alot of these .50 guys were in since for most of them, I had no idea they were even in the big leagues!

Mark is out on the road, no computer access, all his proxies gone. Likely we're stalled until end of work day....he's got six hours, on the turn, though.

WEASELING has reached EPIC propotions. I had seven proxies set overnight, knowing I wouldn't log on until about now, then checked proxy list and saw it empty, and was afraid I was holding thiings up. instead, not a hold up, a robbery! got the bottom of my proxies in morgan and nelson, after shell, moyer, branyan, anderson, scherzer all snatched! im even having proxies stolen I haven't even gotten to enter yet like tatis and belliard! so many holes to fill still, and NO ONE decent left to fill ANY of them! and we're LESS than HALF way through...

Mark sounds stressed out enough as it is....I'm not going to press him....if this was one pick in the middle of a draft, I might, but this is TWO picks with a 22 player gap in between, just as the player pool is getting alarmingly thin (or has it been that way for a couple rounds now?). A couple hasty picks right here could ruin a guy's season. I, too, want to keep this moving, but at this point I think we gotta wait.

Tom, if he does pick and it gets to me and proxies are gone can you try to call me on my cell? I may or may not have cell coverage at the campsite. Thanks, Brian
