That's why I love Seattle in this format. Ichiro, Olerud, Boone, Cameron, all those 1's on defense. Plus Valdes, Pineiro and Halama are all 3of my cheapy guys I like in this set. Sasaki + Rhodes + Hasagawa are 3 good guys in the pen. Overall they don't take a huge amount of $$ either as group. I'm happy now :)

geekor, I certainly looked at Seattle closely. I like those 1's too. St. Louis has 1's at CF, 2B and 3B with Edmonds, Vina and Rolen and Renteria who is a 2 at SS. The thing that swayed me towards St. Louis is the fact that all 3 key defensive positions (CF, 2B & SS) are filled with good fielding and they have a seemingly more solid rotation. Although I have to admit that I've never played this set so the bargain SP you mentioned might be just as good as my higher priced Cardinal SP. :oops:

Nice pick with the Braves. Tons of good pitching. Outside of Andruw Jones they don't know how to catch the ball however. :P This was the year of the terrible experiment of putting Chipper in LF for Vinny Castilla who was supposed to put up Coors Field numbers. :shock:
