Man, there's not much left out there to pick from...that's why I like this one league deal better, it's much more exciting to have a bunch of maybe's on the team.

BTW, I was very impressed with the Producers and I was very impressed with the cast, not one person spit his or her chew out on stage.

WOW! what a flurry of activity! got both proxies, but lost out on lots of guys I'd love to have, barmes/miles. always liked springer, but salary not as crucial in n-l only, and with broxton and hoffman, not a good fit.

Needed Pearce to balance out Elijah Dukes, who doesn't hit lefties well and is injury prone. That meant, however, I lost out on both Barmes and Miles, one of whom was going to play second base for me. I figured I'd see a lot of pitching activity; wrong again.

Uptown has the pick. Let's keep this going; we might be able to finish by tomorrow.

WOW. Gone for much of the day, did pop back in briefly to check and set up more proxies....pained me to pick Alberto Gonzalez, not only because he's ridiculously overpriced even with that glove, for a weak (with a capital W) hitting SS with a 2 injury rating, but also because his Justice Department namesake was such a stupid, sniveling toadie. But hey, I'm not proud.

Meanwhile, I am secondarily shortstop skewered by the Wrath of Sarge, who inexplicably grabs the left side of my SS platoon by slickly snatching Christian Guzman, even when he ALREADY HAS HANLEY RAMIREZ. :o
I end up with Aaron Miles, who is a supersub at several positions but the 4e8 at SS makes him a questionable platoonmate for Alberto.

Edmonds becomes LH slugging protection in hitters parks, plus PH and can fill in CF when THE BORG gets hurt for approximately 30+ games. EXCEPT THAT Uptown sequel shafts me again by grabbing PNC, leaving me grasping for one of the few remaining pitcher's parks, AT&T, and somewhat neutering Prince Fielder and now Edmonds -- but no way I was going with a more balanced HR-happy stadium....Wondering if a swap of Fielder and Lee may be in the offing....could potentially help both teams....

Still need starting pitching, but EVERY SINGLE PROXY I left got zapped before I got to them, and had hitters mixed in front of the more scrublike players.....now that's what I'm left with....SCRUBS. Who knows if even any of those guys'll be left by the time it gets back to me....
