Maybe you're right. I'm painstakingly going through stats to find guys with enough ABs to get a card, but one that I hope will be 50 cents. It's been a tough go. Menechino had some nice aspects to his card, so if it turns out he's priced under a million, IMHO you're getting good value.

The price business is going to kill most of us. A few savvy managers appear to have actually attempt to out guess Bernie and the guys... I tried, but I never know on pitching. My last few pitching picks were all possibly way over... I do rather hope F. Cabrera gets a card, though.

Anyone care to guess on Orlando Cabrera's price?

Yea, I have a feeling I'll be throwing a couple of big fish back too.....unless I guessed right on a couple of bargains (i.e. Menechino, E. Young and/or maybe even Granderson).

I'm gonna guess Orlando Cabrera will be around $2 mil.....maybe a shade under. His bat doesn't seem like anything special but his D is exceptional.

I think you're ok with Fernando Cabrera getting a card, Cubit. Ramiro Mendoza got a card last year with fewer innings/appearances, so Cabrera should get one as well. Now, how expensive that card will be is another thing entirely :)
