Meusel is one of the absolute best values in a big park. I'm sure people could give you no end of examples. :)

Meusel is hard to get. If he is on your waiver wire GRAB HIM. He is perfect for a small ball team. He is a lock for 45-55 doubles and .300-.320.

I rarely see him unused.

Drafted Meusel high as a righty bat in Dunn. So far, so good.

The only bad thing about Meusel is the errors. Everything else, Avg, Xbases, speed, -5 arm, 1 rating and price is golden.

Play him in RF if you can. His arm is a killer to baserunners. Absolutely one of the best values in ATGII. He is a key to my good teams, and always missed on my bad teams when I haven't been able to get him. Great in the 2nd spot in the lineup, or 5th.

Avoid him like the plague.

These folks are just pulling your leg.

Erros, errors, errors

plus he's always hurt. What good does the arm do you if he's on the bench for half a season. Hell of an expensive platoon.

Leave him in the FA pool.

BTW

Old Geezer,

I usually bat him third with no complaints. :)

The irony is that it is no doubt his high "E" rating that makes him such a bargain price wise eh?

Always performed well for me in pitchers parks.....

He sucks.
his e factor means lots of extra advances for the other team, and he gets hurt all the time, and he is a Yankee.
only use him when I get him. :-)

My favorite Meusel performance. Never injured the entire season and was my leadoff hitter in every game. The best thing about Meusel is he can bat in any spot, the worst thing is he is now really highly rated in waiver leagues and I rarely get him even if I list him 4-5. I think he was on my first 15 ATGII teams, now I can rarely get him he is like Pete and Cobb. I long for the old days when he had a reputation as a poor fielding injury prone right fielder.
