Deadball League

Yes, this one was pretty painful at times.

I know at the beginning of the draft, I had said that we shouldn't have a time limit because sometimes life happens and I'd hate to skip someone when they have real emergency.

But the lack of a time limit did get abused in some instances in this draft.

I'll confess that the first several rounds I don't like to use proxies because I like to get a feel for how the draft is shaping up. I do check pretty regularly and I don't think I was ever up longer than 2 hours. After about round 7 or 8 or so, I do use proxies as much as possible.

Those among us who are going to stay for the Pre-WWII league after deadball should probably start to discuss some more stringent parameters than we had for this draft.

I'm glad you did enjoy this draft titans, despite the excruciatingly slow movement. SOMDraft.com is good for a nice leisurely draft unlike the TSN application, but this was a bit too much.

I think 15 minutes is way too tight for this format. Is 3 hours too long?

Something else to consider is maybe shorting it to 15 rounds. I've been in many SOMDrafts of 15 rounds and that really establishes the main core of your anyway.

15 rounds is usually plenty, with an autodraft for the rest. A two hour time limit is fine, with the clock turning off at night. (This may not work for someone working Asian hours.)

I am back..................I am not being allowedf to make a manual pick, so I will declare Lee Tannehill to be my manual pick. I was on the way out the door, literally, when I saw Titan's post about Pfiester..........I Pm'ed him a fix whereby he draft Ray Morgan and we'd swap after the autodraft. I thought that was a fair and timely solution given a problem with proxies and that i was going to be out of touch for about 30 hours........Well, 30 hours later and a ton of posts later I have made my picks, yet seemed to be unfairly punished for Pfiester.........No big deal, but it does kind of suck when you have not excessively held up the draft or been responsible for draft site glitches..............Oh well.................................

What was the decision on the stadiums? Obviously from the DB era, but are we picking them here?

Gorshar,

You created the league as a full ATG4 league when you should have used the SUBSET OPTION for the league.

This being 200 Mil - it you have all of the other players who we aren't supposed to use being available on the wire, it will get real confusing.

Exit the league and recreate it, please.

For everyone else, I'm assuming you created your team with the subset option, which means that only the people we picked from on the draft site will be available players (and stadiums) - So once the league is re-created with the right parameters, only then will we see the league.
