[quote:704c2b0abe="toshiro"]We could adjust the teams for the 5th round later since we'll have exclusive rights to the players. There's not going to be much post draft moves.[/quote:704c2b0abe]
Actually, the rules do state that we do NOT have exclusive rights to our “selected team” players. If Commish Ken leaves Woodie Held or Luis Aparicio off of his draft card, they are eligible to be drafted by any owner. Rule excerpt below….
[quote:704c2b0abe="kenhutchings"]1969 ECONOMIC STIMULUS LEAGUE (no DH)
Revised June 30, 2009
V. There will be no waiver period. Following the draft, managers may adjust their rosters by dropping players (if they wish to have a 24 player roster) or adding players. After the draft, any leftover players are eligible to be selected, whether they are part of the original twelve ES or the remaining twelve non ES.
As long as the two basic rules are adhered to (minimum 20 players from the team’s roster and $135 M reserve), any player movement, either by trade or free agent acquisition, is allowed. [/quote:704c2b0abe]
I still would not anticipate a heavy amount of transactions after the draft, but there will some player movement to watch.
