Sorry for the delay. I wasn't on the clock when I left to pick up my car and have coffee with my wife. Proxies ran right up to us.
Just FYI, I will be away from the computer much of tomorrow also. Like NP, we have six hours and I'll see if WM's schedule will allow him to pick if our proxies get taken. But, if there's a delay, just wanted everyone to know why.
We're happy no one took Damon. Wanted Anderson, but Jeep took him from us. :( Volquez will have to stand in for losing Oswalt. Big M, if you get into salary issues, let us know, we'll see what we can work out.
Happy to see Chase and Yankee in our division.
Anyone use Rowland-Smith this year? How did he do for you?

Niner, like I said was just kidding. And yes, generally the draft has done pretty good considering all the stuff going on w/the boards, site, etc.
Exception was Sunday when we didn't hardly make any movement at all, but other than that it's gone pretty good.
I am anxious to get this finished up though, but into Rd. 14 it won't be too much longer.
How does everyone feel about the Strat games being shut down a whole week? We haven't really discussed that yet.

I knew you were kidding, no problem there, as for the shutdown, $#!+ happens. I understand why they did what they did when they did. I mean moving from one server to another during the all-star break makes sense, from the stand point of hopefully not interupting the fantasy games. As always we are the bastard step child to fantasy so if we got inconvienced for a day or 2 NBD to the upper management.
I'm not really upset about it, anyone that has worked in a tech field knows stuff like this happens. heck I've lived through it myself working in 24 hour news station that was played back on server ( we idd have tape back up) so I know what it's like.
Some of the vitrol spewed forth from some of the community was a bit uncalled for IMHO, but to each his own I guess.

Yeah, I agree. I mean stuff happens. Do I like to have things be disrupted like they were? Of course not, but I understand the situation. And I've simply allotted my strat time to do some other things I normally wouldn't have done.
I can't believe how inmature some people have acted, but like you said to each his own.
We probably should allow 24 hours from the clock announcement before we actually enforce it. I don't think Warrior will pick before Hawk gets back anyway though so we're probably ok there.

I have mixed feelings. One, our own IT people are having problems with our e-mail server the past couple of days and for someone in sales I live and die by email. **** happens to everyone so I can empathize.
I don't agree with the "I've been inconvenienced so you owe me crowd" but I do agree with taking care of customers and I think Bernie has addressed that.

Well, stuff happens for sure. I have to say that I'm not very impressed with their response time. That was way too long to be down. The planning must not have been all that great. Easy to say from here of course.
I think they were smart to add in credits. Good PR.

I was thinking it was Monday for some reason, yes being Tuesday there's been enough time elapsed and the clock should be on.
Hawk musta got tied up, not like him being AWOL this long.
I have also missed the draft banter. Appears some of us are slow to get back into it, too. Kinda quiet around here.
