Yes, I'll be an AL team in the Central or East-we need one more to finish things off. If we can get someone to join before 6:00 PM EST on 7/23, we can use Thursday evenings drawing to determine the draft order. Remember, it's high to low and divisions are not dependent on the draft order.

Regarding the live draft, since that wasn't part of the original rules, I'm hesitant to add that unless all owners agree to it. I'm open to the idea but I also know that vacations/work make things difficult to carve out time to do a live draft. If you haven't already done so, please PM me or post your preference on the board regarding holding a live draft.

If a live draft isn't agreeable to everyone, we will use the boards to post our picks. The original rules indicated we'd do a two round draft using the board so unless we have a unanimous decision to use a live draft, that's what we will follow.

If we are going to do a live draft then there will have to some flexibility on time. Speaking only for myself...I can't sit at a computer all day doing a draft.

It should be an easy draft to use proxies since only 6 guys can go after your al or nl players. I am in no hurry to draft fast since it will be a bit before the free credits get to us..... Thought it would give us something to do while we wait for the credits get posted.

ggrover, I was thinking that it would actually be two seperate drafts of 6 people but actually the shared AL/NL players can be drafted by any of the 12 teams so it has to be one draft of all 12 of us.

I agree it has to be a shared draft which makes it so interesting to do a live draft.

I am fine with any draft config

But it might move faster if it was separate drafts.

The draft has to involve all 12 teams because of the players who are eligible for both leagues. If we have two drafts, there's a chance teams from both leagues could chose Vic Harris and we don't want to live in a world where that could happen.
