As to why the clock was off, there were mixed opinions about having the clock on for weekends. I had written before we started that it would be, but some folks did not read it. (One of my pet peeves is that folks don't read the thread, and miss what we have already decided.) So as a compromise, I decided from commissioner role, that we wouldn't skip folks this weekend, as not all were informed that clock was on during the weekend, but from now on, the clock will be on. So hopefully, this won;t be a problem we have again. On the bright side, til today, I thought the draft was moving along quite nicely.

How do folks feel about their draft choices so far?

I'm surprised by some of the picks that are obviously made only for next season. Guys that I thought I'd be able to get later in the draft were gone early. Find myself trying to find a happy medium between this year and future, but at the end of the day the motto is just win....now baby.

Sorry if I came off, pissed off earlier, had a bad day (work), was looking forward to some movement in the draft. Anyways over it now. Really hoping we can finish the draft this week, leaving town on the 10th for a week probably won't be on a computer very much.

Is the 3 hour time limit working. Rant has been on the clock for 29 hours now. At this rate the 2009 cards will be out before this draft is finished.

I'm not to clear on this "on the clock, off the clock" and skip picks.

Right now it's 4:45 est. Rant has pick #77, then Zim13, then me at #79.

So at 10:00am the clock will go on. Rant will then have 3hrs to pick. After 3hrs, or a pick, then zim13 will have a pick. He will have 3hrs to pick. Then it would be my time to pick, at 16:00. How am I doing?

Could this happen? Rant goes to 13:00est, then it is Zim13, he is on proxie, so at 13:05 he picks. Lets say that everyone else is on proxie, then Rant would be up again at about 14:20. Is that possible?

Thanks
